MEDIA RELEASE RELEASE: IMMEDIATE DATE: September 16, 2014 TIME: 3:00 P.M. CONTACT: Chief Frank E. Williamson, Jr SUBJECT: Burglary at Liberty Forge Driving Range Lower Allen Township, PA – Lower Allen Township Police are investigating an attempt burglary at the Liberty Forge Driving Range in the 3900 block of Lisburn Rd overnight. In the current incident, a male attempted to pry open the door to the driving range clubhouse. However, he was unsuccessful in gaining entry. This is one of five burglaries or attempted burglaries at this location since August. The latest incident occurred around 9:30 P.M. on Monday 09-15-2014. The suspect appears to be a male, wearing a striped shirt, a jacket, possibly similar to a warm up or track suit coat, with a light colored stripe up the side and across the back and sweatpants with the number 2 on the top left side. This suspect is most likely involved in other area burglaries. Anyone with information on this crime or the suspect is asked to call Lower Allen Township Police at 717-238-9676.
