Projects funded 2018-19The Opportunities Fund last year allowed us to launch a number of initiatives to help our students reach their potential and exceed expectations whilst maintaining good mental health and wellbeing.
• Physical Well Being: We fund the purchase of gym equipment for use in our fitness suite as part of a range of initiatives to promote student well-being
• Outward Bound: Our fleet of minibuses takes our young people all over the region to cultural, career, sporting and community programmes and events.
• Friendship: We contribute resources to our new lunchtime club, run by our Home School Link Worker, aimed at students struggling with friendships
• Mental Health and Well Being: Partnering with Surrey Community Foundation, we fund a series of wellbeing initiatives including a school counsellor, garden and counselling suite.
• Table Tennis: With additional support from Sport England, we fund the installation of outdoor table tennis tables and equipment across all year groups.
