Since 2007, Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia (CCAI) and Quiksilver Indonesia (QS) have worked together on a program called "Bali Beach
Clean Up". This great initiative was based on the growing concerns that Bali’s beaches facing serious environmental problem and are
potentially becoming “giant rubbish dumps” if no one starts doing something about it. By working very closely with the local Banjars and
creating jobs for 78 Balinese people to be the “Beach Cleaning Crew”, the program has been slowly enjoyed by millions of tourists and
local residents.
We clean up 9,7 km of shoreline everyday throughout
Kuta beach, Legian beach, Seminyak beach, Jimbaran
beach, and Kedonganan beach.
