The use of adobe captivate by IT teacher for producing tutorials and

quizzes for online lessons and workshops

Overview

Adobe Captivate is an electronic authoring tool for Microsoft Windows, which can be used to author software demonstrations, software simulations, branched scenarios, and randomized quizzes in.swf format. It can also convert Adobe Captivate generated .swf to .avi which can be uploaded to video hosting websites. For software simulations, Captivate can use left mouse clicks, key presses and rollover images.

Overview

It can also be used for podcasts, and the conversion of Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to the Adobe Flash format.

Purpose of evaluation

To know to which degree the IT teacher use adobe captivate for producing tutorials and quizzes for online lessons , courses and workshops

Audience

The target audience are IT teacher and students in ILT department at SQU.

1- Captivate help student to develop their tutorials.

Disadvantages

1- Not Professional.2- Have technical errors.3- Difficult to import the flash in different format.
