I notice that this contents page is from the ‘TOPS4POPS’ magazine. The colours used are pink, white, yellow and black. The pink is effective because it is eye catching. The fonts are all different sizes which makes the reader look at the big writing and also the little writing. It is very busy being different sizes and also having images dotted around the contents page. The text is all over the page. The targeted audience would be girls aged between 9-14 years old. TOP 4 POPS is typical brand because many girls would this to find out what their favourite music idols are up to.

I notice that this magazine contents pages is also from TOP4POPS. However, that month’s page has different colours such as purple, black and white with photos across the page. The colour purple stands out and it’s eye catching. the style of writing is different and ‘hey girls’ and ‘Love Zoe x’ are different from the rest because it represent girls’ handwriting. Again the writing is all over the page. The readers would be girls between the ages of 9-14 years old.

The text is all over the page with images of celebrities within the pop music industry which is why the magazine is called ‘we love pop’. The fonts are all different, it is effective because it makes young girls want to carry on reading. The targeted audience would be teenage girls aged between 13-15.
