AIAI Child Welfare Survey Dear Community Members, As you know, the child welfare system has andcontinues to harm our children, families andcommunities. For too long our children have beenremoved from their families and communities andplaced with non-Indigenous families. This must end.
Much work is under way nationally and provincially to redesign the childwelfare system to make it more responsive to the needs of our children andcommunities. To that end, our Leadership, along with the Association ofIroquois and Allied Indians Leadership, would like your input on whatcommunity control over child welfare means to you, and what it could/shouldlook like in the future. Please take a few minutes to answer this brief survey on the current and futurestate of child welfare for our community.
