Misty Sea Trading 296 (Pty) Ltd T/A

Registration number: 2007/014306/07

PLM was established in 2008 by John Du Bourg and Carl Webb as a project logistics

management service to the industry. It was envisaged that we would operate on a

consultancy / brokerage basis in order to concentrate our energy on providing a service

level to our clients which they deserve and to which we aspire.

We identified the need for a warehousing operation in 2013 and established PLM

warehouse to fulfil this requirement and maintain client satisfaction.

We only use reputable companies with vehicles and equipment in good condition, any

vehicles not meeting our standards will not be loaded with our cargo. To ensure that these

standards are maintained, our sub-contractors are audited on a regular basis. We ensure

that suitable vehicles are sourced to accommodate the cargo to be transported. Where

necessary and where possible, transport drawings are requested prior to vessel arrival to

ensure that the most suitable vehicle is used.

Our client base is mainly the Clearing and Forwarding Industry, who in most cases are the

agents for the Project Managers although we also do have several project related clients for

whom the company undertakes business directly.

The directors and operations staff are well respected in the Transport Industry, and their

extensive knowledge and experience in project, abnormal and general transport logistics

ensure that clients are provided with the service which would meet their expectations.

Due to this knowledge, accumulated experience, high levels of service and personalised

service that the Project Logistics Management team have to offer, we have a client loyalty

that has continued and expanded since inception of the company.
