and cutting edge, much like my magazine will be in

Bodoni MT BlackI have decided that I will be using the Bodoni MT

Black font as it is very clear and easy to read, as well

as being bold enough to stand out from the page.

STYLE SHEET – COLOUR SCHEME

I have chosen this colour scheme as I believe that the use of more vibrant colours

would be more likely to draw the readers attention. As I will be targeting a wider

genre of music, but mainly focusing on the pop punk genre, I believe that the vivid

greens and pinks have connotations of being associated with such a genre. I have

chosen not to use the colour scheme on the left as I believe that the colours do

not fuse as well as the other schemes and the colours seem a bit too dull for my

genres. I have chosen not to use the scheme on the right as the colour scheme

may seem too gender neutral when my audience will more likely be of the male

gender.

• I have chosen the image of the man in a suit as the colour scheme of the image matches the colour scheme that I will be featuring in my magazine. The pose that is being used will also be featured in my magazine e.g. profile whilst posing.

• I have chosen the image of Hayley Williams as she represents many of the genres that will be in my magazine such as pop and pop punk. The colours that she dresses in will also meld with my magazine as they also represent her genres and are vibrant enough to capture my readers attention.

• I have chosen the image of the man carrying an acoustic guitar as he represents the pop punk genre which will feature in my magazine. The use of a guitar also helps to solidify the idea that my magazine will feature the music section of the media.

• The image of Patrick Stump holding an electric guitar also helps to represent the pop punk genre as well as the pop genre, much like the Hayley Williams image.

• The image of the concert helps to solidify the idea that my magazine mainly revolves around the music genre. There is also a very vibrant colour scheme used in the image which will blend with the colour scheme that I am using.

• I have featured an image of the TV show Breaking Bad as it is likely to be one of the shows that my audience will watch. This will also show my audience that the magazine covers a variety of multimedia articles, making the magazine much more appealing.The image itself also features a colour scheme that will fit in with my colour scheme.
