Planet Definition
• An object with a great amount of mass exceeding 0.055 (Earth=1)
• Must orbit a star with a gravitational pull• Must have at least one moon orbiting around it.• Must not be farther than 5000 million km. away from the
sun• The rotational period must not take more than two Earth
days • The orbital period must be less than 400 days
