5. When you find the item you want, click on the Place A Hold button. Please note—You can customize your search in many ways using the option under the Limit Search Results section and you will want to pay close attention to the results to be sure you are placing a hold on the format that you wish. The example above shows the format of “Book” but other options such as DVD, Book on CD, etc. may also be shown. 6. A pop up box will appear. Enter your Ada Library Card number from the back of your card into the Borrower Barcode line. Do not use any spaces between numbers. Enter you rPIN on the next line. You PIN is either the last four digits of the phone number you provided to the library upon registering for a new card or an alternate four digit PIN that you may have requested at that time. If you need assistance with your PIN, please contact the library.

7. After entering your Borrower Barcode number and PIN, click on the Log In button and another pop up box will appear. 8. Click on Place Hold (please note, you may need to initially select (and later you can change) the location of the library from which you want to pick up your item.)

9. Another pop up box will appear to let you know your hold was placed with Success. You can then click on OK and proceed to do

another search and place another hold if you wish.

10. Otherwise click on Log Out at the top right of the page to end your session. You may wish to click on the My Account button at

the top of the page. This section shows your current personal information, checkouts, holds and fines. The holds area here allows

you to CANCEL HOLDS, SUSPEND HOLDS (if you are going on vacation and don’t want your hold to come in while you are away),

and even EDIT YOUR PICKUP LOCATION if you made an error or change your mind.

WHEN YOUR ITEM BECOMES AVAILABLE, you will receive either a phone call, text message or an e-mail (depending on how you registered at your library). You will then have 7 days to pick up your item. If you wish a different notification method, please tell us.

GOOD LUCK PLACING HOLDS.

IT IS QUICK AND PUTS YOU IN CHARGE any time of day or night.

PLEASE CONTACT THE LIBRARY WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
