    Scenario: Old WINGS Program

    1.  “Buzz” the pilot participated in the old WINGS program 2.  Buzz attended a safety seminar. 3.  He logs 3 hours with his instructor:

    –  He is proud to hold +/- 500 ft. on his steep turns –  Under the hood, he maintained +/- 180° on his heading & +/- 90° bank –  He demonstrated his stall recovery as he turned final –  Then he finished the flight by showing his instructor how to buzz the field like

he did back in his crop dusting days

    –  He still thinks that the Houston Class B is called a TCA

Buzz has completed another phase of WINGS, even though his piloting skills are virtually non-existent. This counts as a

Flight Review, and he is now legal to continue flying.
