Welcome to Pilmoor Memorial United Methodist Church!
Please print your name in the pew register. If you have a prayer
concern you would like to have added to or removed from the
worship bulletin, you may use the prayer card in the pew pocket.
We are glad you have chosen to worship here!
Our congregation is excited today to welcome Jules Lane and
Preston Mullins into the fellowship of Pilmoor Memorial United
Methodist Church. Jules and Preston have completed the
confirmation process and are ready to become full members.
Janet Rose has requested that we send a prayer card to her friend,
Jason Neal. It is in the Narthex. Please sign it if you feel led to do so.
Thank you.
Church Milestone
We have reached a great milestone on the Church Building
Mortgage. Our original Mortgage was for $453,471, and we have
paid off almost 25% of the mortgage making our current balance
$346,941. With all the generous donations we have received
toward our building fund and principal only we are over $50,000
ahead on payments and will be paying off the mortgage early.
Youth Service Storm Fund Donations
If you are making a donation for the Youth Service Storm Fund
and you are writing a check, please make your check payable to
Pilmoor and write in the memo section of your check “Youth
Service Storm Fund”. Thank you!
Holiday Bazaar Update
The Bazaar Committee, in conjunction with the Preschool, will be
having a used children’s book table. We are asking for used
children’s books. Please leave books in the basket under the table
in the narthex or under the bazaar easel in the social hall. Also, we
are in need of some volunteers to help out in various ways at our
Holiday Bazaar on October 25th & 26th. If you are interested in
helping, you can sign up on the bazaar easel located in the social
hall. If you have any further questions, please see Carolyn Gilliam.
Thanks for your support!

Lord, new every morning is your love, God of love and light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us a desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
*Hymn of Praise “To God Be the Glory” 98
*Affirmation of Faith (The Apostle’s Creed) 881
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
*The Gloria Patri 71
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
