Packhouse Delivery Inspection

• First PDI• All orchards under the FMS must have PDI done• You will only be able to update First PDI Inspection once.

• For later PDI’s capture under Later PDI Inspection.

• First PDI results will update the Original and Current FMS Orchard Status

• Later PDI• Orchards will only appear in the Later PDI grid after 21 days from

First PDI.• From day 21 – 28 days from First PDI you can do the Later PDI to

ensure your PDI Tracker does not LAPSED.• PPECB will not pass fruit at the quality inspection if the PDI Tracker

indicates LAPSED

• On day 29 the PDI Tracker will indicate LAPSED if no later PDI is captured.

• If there is a long break between picking periods (more than 4 weeks) then Later PDI need to be done just before packing takes place again.

• Later PDI results will only update the Current FMS Orchard Status.

• Currently still working on “Rules of the game”• Will focus on eCertification first• Working on Rules Engine

• Meeting with the Dutch at the end of March• Aligning rules with processes – working with DAFF to ensure

compliance with market conditions.

• Future• Still looking for some limited commercial use in June 2019• But really focusing on from 1 Dec 2019 fruit being able to use

the eCertification platform
