Photos are a great way of sharing what happened at your cleanup with the rest of the world. We would love to have photographs of your cleanup, including people in action, different or odd types of debris found, group photos, before and after shots, illustrations of the sources of debris and individual candid pictures, etc. Photos will be used in written publications, presentations, on The Ocean Conservancy website, and to send to the media. If you send digital or scanned prints, a resolution of 300 dpi or higher is preferable for print purposes (72 dpi or less for website). If you cannot send such large files via your email service, you can put the photos on disk or CD or you may send good- quality prints by regular mail. But please make copies, because we cannot return your prints. When using the photos we try our best to use captions and credit the photographer. Often times for space and design purposes we cannot do this. Please mark each picture with a date, location (state/country), a note as to who is in the picture and any caption you would like to include. For electronic files, please name the photos with Country/state, location, photographer (e.g. Canada-BC- Elton2.jpeg ). You may also provide us with a written list of the photos you provide and their corresponding information. By sending us your photographs, you: affirm that you own the rights to the photos; and agree to transfer those rights to The Ocean Conservancy for use in publications, presentations, and on The Ocean Conservancy website, and to send them to media outlets in order to increase the publicity for the International Coastal

STATEMENT REGARDING USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS

Remember a Picture is worth a thousand words!

If you cannot send such large files via your email service, you can put the photos on disk or CD or you may send good-quality prints by regular mail.

Canada-BC-Elton2.jpeg ). You may also provide us with a written list of the photos you provide and their corresponding information.

By sending us your photographs, you: affirm that you own the rights to the photos; and agree to transfer those rights to The Ocean Conservancy for use in publications,

presentations, and on The Ocean Conservancy website, and to send them to media outlets in order to increase the publicity for the International Coastal Cleanup and to raise awareness of the problem of marine debris.

Thanks for your help. By sharing your photos you are furthering the cause!
