POEMI'd Pick More Daisies!

If I had my life to live over,I'd try to make more mistakes next time.

I would relax. I would limber up.I would be sillier than I have on this trip.

I would be crazier. I would be less hygienic.I would take more chances, I would take more trips.

I would climb more mountains, swim more rivers, and watch more sunsets.

I would burn more gasoline. I would eat more ice cream and less beans.I would have more actual troubles and fewer imaginary ones.

You see, I am one of those people who livesProphylactically and sensibly and sanely,

Hour after hour, day after day.

Page 3: Philip Holley Order of Service

Oh, I have had my momentsAnd if I had it to do over again, I'd have more of them.

In fact, I'd try to have nothing else. Just moments, one after another.

Instead of living so many years ahead: each day.I have been one of those people who never go anywhereWithout a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a gargle,

a Raincoat and a parachute.

If I had to do it over again, I would go places and do things.I'd travel lighter than I have.

If I had my life to live over, I would start barefootedEarlier in the spring, and stay that way later in the fall.

I would play hooky more. I wouldn't make such good gradesExcept by accident. I would ride on merry-go-rounds.

I'd pick more daisies!

POEMYou Never Said Your Leaving

You never said "I'm leaving" You never said goodbyeYou were gone before I knew it, and only God knew whyA million times I needed you, A million times I cried

If Love alone could have saved you, You never would have diedIn Life I loved you dearly In death I love you still

In my heart you hold a place, That no one could ever fillIt broke my heart to lose you, But you didn't go alone

For part of me went with you, The day God took you home. ~

A FEW MESSAGES SENT TO THE FAMILY

Sam & Todd Quine

Our Grandad is so bald, Our Grandad is so brave,Sometimes we see him he really needs a shave. Our Grandad is clever, Our Grandad is smart,

We liked to call him a grumpy old fart. Our Grandad is handsome, Our Grandad is smart,

We think he has a massive heart. Our Grandad told us his golf was good,

But we know he kept spare balls in his hood.

Page 7: Philip Holley Order of Service

Our Grandad always tells us a very good story,Our Grandad, i think he washes in glory. Our Grandad, we love him ever so much,

There is something about him, a magic touch. Our Grandad is so strong, Our Grandad is so tough,

Our Grandad has taught us so much great stuff. Our Grandad's life, I’m afraid, has come to an end,

this poem was about our very best friend.

Selina Perrie Although the time we knew each other was short by comparison, my memories of

these times are fond and filled with laughter especially the times we spent to-gether enjoying our shared favourites - Cheese and Salad Cream!!!"

Rest in peace. All my love, Selina

My lovely uncle, as a man of few words those that he spoke were always positive and often full of humor. A kind soul with a huge twinkle in his eye made Phil a

very special person. Keep on trucking big guy. X

Ben Macarthy A goodbye isn’t painful unless you’re never going to say hello again,

goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean we will miss you, until we meet again. Finally if he's up there or down below he won’t

care, as he will have friends where ever he goes.

THE BLESSING

May God give you his comfort and his peace, his light and his joy, in this world and the next; and the blessing of God almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,be among you and remain with you always. Amen.
