On January 17th, the Pine Forest Fifth Grade will be participating in colonial activities that simulate what life was like during that time period. Students and teachers dress from the era and will even participate in noon tea! In order to make the events of the day successful, we are in need of volunteers to run different stations as well as donations. Please consider donating the following items: - mini pie tins - M&M's - shortbreak cookies - instant hot tea - skeins of yarn in assorted colors - quarts of heavy whipping cream - a box of long heavy duty nails - paper plates -paper napkins Thank you for all of your help in making this engaging, educational day a huge success!!

PTA NewsPTA NewsPTA NewsPTA News The PTA would like to thank all of our wonderful volunteers who helped make our winter festivities a HUGE success! Over the past few weeks, thanks to your willingness to help, we were able to accomplish great things. The teachers were so thankful for the opportunity to have a special lunch together as a team. This was only possible because of the great volunteers who covered lunch and recess duty for them. We would also like to thank our room parents and grade level liaisons. You have all been wonderful! Thank you to all the parents who came in to help decorate for Polar Express and the other winter festivities. To all the parents and PTA board members who have worked in our Santa Shop this week, the students and staff continue to comment on how much the kids loved it. Thank you for making it possible for the kids to have this opportunity. We would also like to thank the Student Council, Ms. Felan, and Ms, Lehnert. They were wonderful helpers to our kindergarten and first grade shoppers. We could not have done it without you!
