PETRONAS M 500 High Quality Group II+ Base Oils

PETRONAS M 500 is a very high quality Group II+ base oil, manufactured from a proprietary hydrotreatment and wax isomerization process and is hydrofinished to a colourless liquid. The base oil is highly isoparaffinic and exhibits high viscosity index as well as superior low temperature performance. It has an excellent viscosity-volatility relationship.

Applications PETRONAS M 500 is an excellent choice for formulating higher viscosity grades engine oils due to its high Group II+ viscosity index and low volatility. This base oil is also suitable for industrial applications in compressor, hydraulic, gear and turbine formulations.
