ABOUT OUR DESIGNER VIVIANA G...

Viviana Gabeiras is a American-Venezuelan In-ternational Fashion De-signer who designed and launched Petit Pois by Viv-iana G 13 years ago. She and her partner and hus-band Rafael operate and fully run Petit Pois, Inc. out of Miami, FL. This is where the entire collection comes together, from her signature mesh fabrics in vibrant colors and mosaic “art-like” prints, to her original designs which car-ry a soft, sexy flair. Since the entire collection is proudly produced on site

in the United States Petit Pois is pushed to deliver first class quality designs to its customers. Her en-tirely straightforward approach toward her busi-ness has made her an exclusive leader in the mesh contemporary market. So, what about Viviana herself? Viviana Gabeiras moved to New York City after owning her own boutique in Venezuela and stud-ying in Paris to attend the Parsons School of De-sign. While at Parsons, Viviana graduated amongst Marc Jacobs, Isaac Mizrahi and Tracy Reese, today known as some of the world's top designers. As a student she won the honorable mention from the Rayon Council during the New York Fashion Design Competition. While attend-ing Parson’s she worked beside Michaele Voll-bratch, Ann Crimms and the Embroidery Council of America. Later teaching within the industry, Viviana grew a love for students thirsty for fash-ion and expert advice where she taught at the Miami International University of Art and De-sign. Since Petit Pois inception 13 years ago her designs have routinely been featured in many fashion publications including the cover of Wom-

en’s Wear Daily and in 2007 Viviana won the CILA award for “Best Coordinate Moderate” in New York City. Petit Pois has also received recognition from high profile celebrities such as Shakira, re-cording artist Mya, Florence and the Machine’s very own Florence Welsh, and super model Heidi

Lindgren. Viviana continues to de-sign and manufac-ture her premium luxury knit collec-tions at her Miami headquarters. In recent years she has received even more notoriety by participating as one of Miami Beach Interna-tional Fashion Week’s top de-signers showcas-ing her latest col-lection annually while her runway

shows continue to set trends and inspire designers all over. She has also made guest appearances in NBC South Flori-da morning show as well Univision’s Despierta America, one of the most popular Hispanic morn-ing shows in the USA. Today Viviana G experienc-es and life-style have influenced her brand, as have her ever-evolving consumer. Having built Petit Pois from the ground up while raising a fam-ily of her own, Viviana G knows her customer all too well. Her signature mesh and original designs draw legions of devotees to her pieces through-out the world. She understands the needs of women in this modern day world and can identify with the hustle and bustle of life therefore mak-ing her a true inspiration!
