JV Buffs Find, Longhorns Hard to Corral

It was a hard fought battle as the smaller Petersburg Junior varsity Buffal08s went head to head with the larger Lockney Longhorns Thursd8y, September 14 in Buffalo Stadium. Considering the extra size the Homs had on the Buffs, the home team played a realy good gama.

This ddn't sit well with Lockney and they proceeded to take the ball back and made their way over the goal line, bumping the score up 12-7. The PAT conversion failed.

As time began to run out, the Bulls mounted another drive for the goal only to have the ball slip from their hands and end up back In the possession of the Longhorns eliminating the Buffs . chance of regaining the lead . Game ended in favor of' the Long~ horns, '12-7.
