Peter Knudsen Quartet On the CD Peterson-Berger revisited (Home 2013) Peter together with reclaimed saxophonist Joakim Milder takes on the music of national romantic composer Wilhelm Peterson Berger in a quartet setting, merging the past and the present into a unique synthesis. Peter Knudsen Trio Peter has adapted the music of French composers Debussy and Ravel for the jazz trio format. The CD Impression – a tribute to Debussy and Ravel (Found You Recordings) was released in 2012. After many years of touring and exploring the music in Scandinavia as well as France, the pianist has truly found a way of expressing himself through the Impressionist music. Peter Knudsen Eight On the CD Sagas of the present (Camjazz 2012) Peter presents his own music, arranged for an octet consisting of some of Swedens most sought-after young musicians. heard in groups like Paavo, Nils Berg 5, Klabbes Bank, Lina Nyberg Band, Mats Öberg Trio among others. The group has recently received travel funding, and is currently planning a tour in Southern Europe this autumn.
