FITNESS FUN (from Mrs. Thompson)
Your child will be participating in the
Kids Heart Challenge during PE the
week before Fall Break! This fun activi-
ty will promote heart health while
helping others and raising money for the Ameri-
can Heart Association. Please look for more
information in the weeks to come!
Important Cafeteria Information:
All cafeteria purchases must be prepaid before meal
service begins by either making a deposit on
myschoolbucks.com or by sending in a check or cash
to school. A student may charge up to 4 meals as
long as they maintain a good history of making
payments on their food service account. If a student
repeatedly comes to school without lunch money,
and they have charged over their limit, they will be
given a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch
until their account is in good standing. Please make
sure to regularly check your student’s lunch account
balance on myschoolbucks.com. You do not have to
add funds through My School Bucks, but you can
always see their current balance. All accounts must
be settled by the end of the school year. Thank you!
Please do not bring in fast food (including Subway) to
the school cafeteria. We appreciate your considera-
tion of this matter.
Please do not take and/or post photos of other
students (beside your own) on your social media
feeds. We want to respect the privacy of all of our
students and families.
Our PTA is incredible! The next PTA meeting
is Tuesday, October 9th at 6:30pm in the PES
Library. Everyone is welcome to attend! Don’t
forget to select Pittsboro PTA as your Commu-
nity Rewards organization...Kroger donates
money to the PTA each quarter. Our organi-
zation number is CP812. Thank you!
