International projects recently worked on are as follows.

1. Oxiana Mine Project 1 & 2 In LAOS. 2. Christchurch Airport. 3. Auckland Airport. 4. LTA Singapore. 5. Singapore Airlines – Hong Kong 6. MTA Bangkok. 7. AOT Bangkok - Suvarnabhumi International Airport.. 8. Malaysian Police & Malaysian Customs. 9. Thai Airways- Suvarnabhumi International Airport..

The Thai Airways Project work consisted of the engineering and project management at Thai Airways International (TG) solution is as follows:

My role as a consultant project manager and design engineer was to provide an integrated access control, intelligent CCTV and advanced security system for select buildings at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The Team was required to design, install, maintain and is supporting a state-of-the-art security system for TG to secure their facilities and operations and ensure the safety of its employees and the general public.

Page 11: Personal Profile - February 2015

The objective was to deploy a turn-key system that will integrate multiple technologies with powerful Command & Control capabilities that will be scalable to support both emerging technologies and the evolving needs of TG. This integration expertise gives TG the tools for a comprehensive detection system and a baseline from which to expand. Additionally, as Suvarnabhumi International Airport has become operational, the Team understands the importance of performing non-intrusive installations in ‘live’ airport environments. From suspicious activity at the Cargo Building to access violations in the Operations Centre, each threat needs to be reviewed and verified by TG’s security personnel in an efficient yet reliable manner. The overall security solution was to be simple and intuitive to operate with low false positive rates. If an alarm is triggered, the operator may only have moments to make critical assessments and initiate the appropriate response. This ability to inform the user not only that a security breach has occurred, but also where it is occurring, in real time, greatly enhances TG’s security operations. And, since notification can include cell phones, pagers and personal digital assistants (PDAs), as well as workstation consoles and email, security personnel are not required to remain in a traditional guard station watching any number of monitors. Additionally, because they can actually view the cause of any security breach in real time, security personnel can determine what extent of response is necessary. The security solution will include:

• 1183 fixed IP cameras • 67 PTZ IP cameras • 6.4 terabytes for video storage per machine x 30 • 46 FirstView servers • Motion detection capability on all video feeds • Video analytics on 24 cameras (left object, virtual fence-line tripwire, etc.) • License plate recognition (with Thai characters) • Integrated Access Control system including parking lot gates with approx 905

Smart Card Readers & 65 Biometric Finger Print Readers • 2 km Fibre fence sensors for Intrusion-Detection • X-Ray devices networked to Command & Control • “Panic Buttons” for manual alerts by local guard personnel • 10 Gigabyte IP network with secure Internet redundancy • BU workstations, master workstations & SOC Command & Control room

equipment • 24/7 support

At the core of the system is the FirstView® Command & Control software solution. This software integrates diverse sensors leveraging a variety of systems including IP CCTV, video analytics, access control, X-ray imaging and fibre optics. Currently deployed in multiple advanced security applications, FirstView provides a simplified user experience to complex sensor systems, thus allowing security personnel to layer the appropriate sensors to manage the threats.
