From the Principal’s Desk Phase 1 Return to School
From next Monday 11 May 2020, students will return to school 1 x day per week. We are asking all students to
bring their Learning From Home booklets on their allocated day as students will continue to work on the same
unit they are working on when at home. As per government guidelines, where possible, students are to continue
learning from home on the days other than their allocated day. Children of essential workers will continue to be
able to attend on days other than their allocated year group. Please don't hesitate to contact the school if you
have any questions. We thank our entire school community for their ongoing cooperation during these difficult
times.
Monday - Year 3 + Year 6
Tuesday - Year 2 + K-6S (Group 1)
Wednesday – Year 4 + Kindergarten
Thursday - Year 1 + Year 5 + K-6S (Group 2)
Friday - Children of essential workers
Drop Off & Pick Up
When dropping off and picking up students before/after school, parents are asked to please respect
social distancing guidelines. To ensure the ongoing safety of staff and students, we are asking
parents NOT to come into the school and sit on outdoor furniture or congregate and socialise for any
period of time. If parents/visitors can't abide by these guidelines, the school may have to take
further measures and have parents not enter school grounds and pick their children up from school
gates ONLY. Your cooperation with this would be greatly appreciated.
We have two allocated pick up points:
K-2 - K-2 Grass Area 3-6 - Collarene Lawns (near flagpoles)
Changes of Routine - Please Let Us Know
Does your child catch a bus? Does your child walk/ride home from school? If you ever need to change the
normal routine to your child's mode of transport to get home after school, please contact the front office as
early as possible so a clear message can be provided to students. This will ensure your child is safe and not
confused about what they have to do. Teachers will then communicate with students any changes to routine and
ensure your child gets home safely.

students will be marked absent and it will count as a statistical absence.
Mr John Ireland
Principal
Thank you! We would like to say a massive thanks to the hard working P&C for
all of their work over many years and support in improving the
playground and resources for all of our students. One of their
projects at the moment is a new sandpit located in the 3-6
Playground and will be open during 1st and 2nd break each day.
What’s happening at school! Working both inside and outside – great work kids!
DON’T FORGET
Full winter uniform is to be worn on the day/s
students attend school.
What’s been happening at home Ruby watched the NSW Education Live
segment last week with Manu, Gary and
Matt cooking Pasta and Chocolate
Mousse. She had a great time following
the recipes and creating a delicious
dinner.
Looks delicious Ruby – well done!
If your child is doing something great
with their learning at home please send
through some pics we would love to see
them.
