Second Floor of the Exponent Building (AKA The Newsroom)

GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE ROOM!!!!

Make sure to Bring your Memory Card!!!!

Open the Photos Server...

Make a New, aptly named, folder within the proper sub-folders

Drag a picture from your new folder into Photomechanic(This opens all pictures in that folder)

Select ALL of your images

Go to Image>IPTC Stationary Pad

Make sure to fill in your name and title in the comments box (top right)

Make sure your info is right in the bottom left

Make sure the correct categories and sub-categories are selected

Click “Apply IPTC Stationary to Selected” and the info box will close itself

Now go through your pictures (double click on one and navigate with the arrow keys) and select your winners (by pushing the '1' button on the keyboard)

Now Caption your Selected (pink) photos – names, names, names!

A Few Final WordsOnce you are finished captioning your photos, close photomechanic and re-open your pictures in it

Double Check to make sure your captions have “stuck”

Do not use the C-fit toning software (that's my job)

Do not change any settings on either the monitor or in photoshop (they are both calibrated to our printing press)

Make sure to get the names of the people in your photos – and make sure they are correct!
