WHY????

I HAVE A LOT OF WOMEN IN MY FAMILYMany started families reasonably early for this day and ageI Loved helping them out and caring for them while they were human incubators Many of them were hard working women that needed a babysitter

Also

The beginning of life is by far its greatest aspect to learn about! This is the stage where human beings grow themost and my love of biology makes this partof developmental psychology extremely interesting to meFigure 5: Fetus

Complications

I have had many encounters and experiences with pregnant women. However, they werent always pleasant outcomes.Statistics show that 70-75% of all conceptions miscarry (About.com, 2015). The first ever delivery Ive seen was of a stillborn (a baby born already deceased). It changed my view on pregnancies and made me realize how important each step was.Figure 6

My professional life

I am currently a 2nd year Bachelor of Nursing student and plan to graduate and become a registered nurse in the next 2 years. Figure 8 Figure 7

After my DiplomaBeing an RN is my goal but I dont want to stop there. There are many areas where registered nurses can specialize in.I want to specialize in perinatal nursing after I obtain my Bachelors degree.

MY Decision

I never thought Id do post secondary until I found something I was passionate about.

Then I never imagined even considering doing extra schooling after my 4years were up, but I will push for this goal because Im really interested in this fieldFigure 11
