Performers

Our group has decided that in our music video we are going to have one main actress/performer and the four of us. We decided to do this as we are the same age as are target audience, therefore they can relate to the music video, as they may be going through similar things like the girls in the music video. We thought it was important to have just one main performer as the hidden meanings in the song will be highlighted a lot more, and feel more powerful coming from just one young person.

The four of us girls will be holding up signs with lyrics on them. Also some of us will take part in some acting by playing along on a guitar and/or singing along to the song.

Why Grace and Hannah?

We thought that Grace was an appropriate person to be in our music video to hold up the lyrics boards, as she has the ‘vintage’ look to her and that would suit the target audience well. She is in our media group so she knows what we want from her for the video.

Hannah was an appropriate candidate as well for our music video as one of the girls holding up the lyrics boards, as she also has the vintage look and suits the genre. She also is in our music video and knows what we want from her for the music video.

Why Sophie and Natasha?

Sophie also is going to play a part in the music video as holding up the lyrics boards as she is suitable for the genre too. She is also in our media class so she will know exactly what we want from the music video.

Natasha is going to play a part in the music video as holding up the lyrics board too. We thought she would too be suitable as she can pull off the look for our target audience and she is in our media group so she knows what we want from her.

Why Jessica?We decided that Jessica would be good for our main character as she can pull off the look to suit our target audience and she is very enthusiastic and quirky. This appeals to our target audience so she was the perfect candidate. She is available to take part in filming when the rest of us have free lessons so it works out well.However she will need to learn the song relatively well before we film her.
