Perennity Dicom offers a turnkey solution for

the medical industry to output examination

data from any DICOM compliant modality or

PACS to CD, DVD and BluRay. It substantially

reduces production costs compared to

traditional film. Any Dicom Viewer can be

added to the disc to display and manipulate

the Dicom images.

Once processed, you may decide to keep all

Dicom images for archiving purposes. Images

can be stored on large capacity RAID systems

or long term archive storage solutions (e.g.

Fast-LTA Silent Cube). You will be able to

query and retrieve studies stored in the

Perennity archive using any Dicom

workstation searching by patient, study, ...

Patient CD production

Perennity uses CD/DVD autoloaders (robots)

to automate the production, and at the same

time personalize the media with a custom

label. Any information can be printed on top

of the CD/DVD: patient name and identifier,

date and time, list of studies, etc. Of course

you can also add logos and pictures to the

printout, or even thumbnails of included

images.

Dicom Image Archiving

Perennity can also be used as an archiving

solution for Dicom images. It will act as a

Store and Query/Retrieve SCP. Furthermore,

an off-line backup to DVD or BluRay can be

optionally performed for long term secure

archiving.

Perennity extracts all relevant metadata

(patient and study information) from the

processed Dicom images and stores these in a

database (MySQL or MS SQL Server). Up to

five custom fields (Dicom tags) can be defined

for extraction and printing.

Automated operation

Perennity interfaces with all CD/DVD autoloaders

from Rimage, the leading manufacturer in

CD/DVD/BD production solutions for the medical

industry. Rimage offers a complete range of

robots, meeting any requirements in terms of

throughput and print quality. A choice is offered

from several printing technologies : thermal

printing for a highly professional indelible print

quality, or inkjet for less demanding

applications. Rimage systems based on the

Prism thermal printer also offer the possibility of

personalizing preprinted discs, thereby

dramatically reducing operational costs.

Intuitive WEB interface

Our web-based graphical interface is extremely

user friendly. It is accessible from any web

browser in your network and has been designed

to be used with a touch screen monitor.

Multiple viewer support:

On request from customer multiple viewer can be burned in the same CD for the customers flexibility and advantage of the respective brands.

Multiple Rimage for work load sharing or Redundancy:

Two Rimage can be connected to the PACS to work as one unit. The load balance will distribute the work load equally on both systems. It is also possible, when one system go down other system will continue to function making the solut ion complete ly redundant. Best suitable for 24/7 working environment.

RIMAGE Support optionsSupport options available with one year, three years and Five years warranty extensions.

Ask for Rimage 24 x 7 replacement support options. When there is an issue with the product, our support team will replace the unit with a working unit while the original unit is being fixed. Never have to worry about down time.
