THE ROLE OF FAMILY AS MOTHERS PARTNER IN BREAST MILK GIVING (QUALITATIVE STUDY TO THE WORKING MOTHER) AT PALEMBANG 2014ABSTRACTBackground: One of mothers resistors to breastfeed is mothers statue as worker, but beside that there are some things that can be the supporting factor for the working mother to minimize that resistor by maximizing the family support or the role of family as mothers partner in achieving the successful of breast milk giving. That success key is mother and families have good breast milk management. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of family as mothers partner in breast milk giving.Method: This research used qualitative approaching. The information resource of this research is 13 informants. The collecting data method used in-depth interview, and observation. The collecting data tool is interview guide. The data then presented in table and narration to interpret those data. The result of research: The successful of breast milk giving implementation in working mother can be affected by mothers knowledge about good breast milk, and the availability of familys role as mothers partner which benefit can be felt by mother, and help mother in successful breast milk giving. Conclusion: The implementation of partnership between mother, husband and family has occurred well till achieving breast milk giving, but that partnership is still husband and family to help mother, that role has not achieved the mothers partner phase that has initiative which means to find and to do what need to do itself.
