the Pensacola Yacht and Motor Boat Club has decided to hold a regatta off Magnolia Bluff where the fair will be held and ill preliminary arrangements having been concluded it Is therefore predicted- that this regatta will surpass anything- of the kind yet held in these water3 Foreign speed boats have been asked- to participate with our local boats but owing to the late storm along the Louisiana and Mississippi coasts only- a few foreign entries have so far been scheduled though the entry list will not close until the report of the com ¬ mittee is received on Monday even- ing ¬ the 25th instant when a meeting- of the club will be held at 730 p in at the office of the Pensacola Gas En- gine ¬ and Supply Co No 713 South Palafox street to consider all final arrangements for the regatta- It has been learned that there s a dark horse entry for class A which class Includes speed boats of 15 miles or better but the name or mysteryrot- a ¬ and D will contain about a dozen boats in each
