A Word From The Pastor…!!

! Mass attendance count will be taken at all Masses on April 15th, 22nd, and 29th at all parishes in the Diocese of Buffalo. Each church pew seating capacity will also be measured out independently. Bishop Malone wrote in his recent letter to all pastors: “Presbyteral (Priest) Coun-cil felt it important to assess every parish’s Mass sched-ule as a first step to see if we are offering appropriate schedules of Masses for our congregations. As previous-ly mentioned, of key importance are the spiritual and physical wellbeing of out prebyterate (priests) and the offering of vibrant liturgies for God’s people. After the numbers are returned to the Vicars in early May, there will be a form for the Vicars/Vicariates to use to make any recommendation for possible adjustments to some Mass schedules.” !!

! As always, I encourage people to attend Weekend Mass at Good Shepherd (both worship sites) every week-end, but especially on the three dates mentioned above.!!

! If you have already contributed to Catholic Charities this year, thank you! If not yet, I encourage you to do so soon! Our parish is $4,000.00 behind in reaching our annual goal Thank you for your generous support of Catholic Charities! I would like to thank Lynn Leising and Mary Palumbo for being our chairpeople. !!
