THE INTEGRATED WELL LIFECYCLE SOLUTION
FALL 2009
Enhanced Analysis
New schematic options are available, including directional wellbore and 3D wellbore selector (drawn from actual
survey data).
Easy to use Excel templates in multi well reports allow you to quickly access Excel features, such as pivot tables
and graphs.
In the new Time Tracks tab, you can correlate any date and time based
data in the WellView database.
WellView 9.0 is Released! Peloton is pleased to announce the release of WellView 9.0. Numerous enhancements to analysis, usability, data auditing, and
administrative tools are featured in this milestone release. Here are just a few of the highlights:
Enhanced Usability
You can select multiple items for copying and deleting data.
The report builder has an improved user interface. You can add the same table multiple times in a data block and display
attached image files in the report template.
The multi well report block now includes the same features as
the single well block—you can add child tables.
In the schematic, you have more annotation flexibility. You can
also plot any data versus depth.

New SiteView 3.2 Release! SiteView version 3.2 has recently been released with enhancements to the data model to allow the tracking and management of tubular inventory. Traditionally, SiteView has complemented WellView by focusing on surface orientated information, including construction, environmental, facility and pipeline operations. SiteView now expands this workflow of data to include yard and site inventory for tracking tubulars such as casing, tubing, line pipe,
and flow line.
Both the quantity of length and joints can be tracked, as well as the inventory value. As shipments are received or sent out, the current cost at the time of action can be tracked. This cost can also include the invoiced cost as received from the vendor for any shipment. The most current cost is used to assign an inventory value for both length and joint count. Costs can also accrue as inventory sits unused in the form of inspections or audits. This accrual can also be
added to the current inventory value.
The Peloton Material Transfer add-in allows the user responsible for reconciling inventory to move inventory from site to site. Both units of measure—lengths and joints— can be tracked as they are sent and received from sites within SiteView. The cost associated to the material transfer is also tracked, and there is the option to credit and debit the appropriate AFE in the respective Job in SiteView. As shipments are received, they can be applied to an AFE. As the
tubulars may get moved off site, any remaining amount can be credited back to the AFE for accurate project management.
By adding the ability to manage tubular inventory, SiteView includes one more user group that can contribute to a common master site file. This data allows you to accurately query on active inventory to optimize the use of stock. You can minimize the additional purchases from vendors and manage the cost of
the inventory into the job, thus improving AFE management results at the project level.
Federal regulations are now mandating a higher level of reporting for emissions. SiteView has functionality to track and report any pollutants or green house
gas emissions. It can be used to report at a facility level or to provide a full emissions inventory for the entire company.
Tubular Inventory Management
In addition to being a complete asset management tracking system for serialized production equipment and bulk inventory such as connectors, gauges, and valves, SiteView can now be used to track oilfield tubulars. Inventory yards can be set up where shipments are received from vendors. This inventory can then be moved from inventory to active operation sites using the Peloton Material Transfer add-in. Once the tubulars are consumed down hole (which can be tracked in WellView), the remaining quantity of pipe can either be sent to another location for consumption or back to a yard and
replaced into inventory.
The new data model allows for the tracking of the following base tubular attributes:
Size
Weight
Grade
Connection end
Material
Condition

RigView 2.1—New Enhancements A new maintenance release of RigView 2.1 is now available and includes the following new enhancements:
Multi-Select and Move of Jobs on the Schedule
This new enhancement allows users to select a group of Jobs on a single rig line and move them to another rig with a single drag and drop. The multi-select
and move functionality will maintain any spacing between the jobs and will drop them on a rig line as a single block of jobs.
This feature is excellent if you are laying down a rig and need to move all of the jobs that had been scheduled to that particular rig.
New Job Distance Calcs & Ability to Display Weekends on the Schedule
RigView now has two new fields in rvJob that will calculate your distance to the next job location, as well as distance from the previous job location, based on
Latitude and Longitude data entered for each.
Using the right-click menu on the schedule, users can now choose to display weekends. Weekends will appear grayed out on the Rig Schedule.
Please contact Peloton if you would like to download a new release, or if you require additional information. When we upload
the new release for you, the detailed change report which itemizes all changes will be available as well.
