The power of flap disc technologyFlap discs are three-dimensional grinding discs consisting of overlapping layers of abrasive-coated, fiber-reinforced flaps attached to a central hub. These flaps continually wear away with use to expose fresh mineral for a fast, consistent cut.

The one-step alternative to bonded wheels and fibre discs. Flap discs are flexible, so they easily follow curves and contours. They deliver less gouging, and provide great operator comfort. Best of all, they allow one-step grinding and blending – making them a time and cost-saving solution in many typical applications.

Under normal conditions, flap discs will generate a finish that is one grade finer than the finish of a fibre disc of the same grade. And, because their unique construction allows more abrasive material to be loaded on, they keep on cutting – long after other discs have called it quits!
