What is PDHPE?

PDHPE (personal development,Health and physical education) is Part of the NSW curriculum for k-6.It includes learning and participating in physical activity and developing skills, material on safety, nutrition, relationships and identity.

The Aim of PDHPE

PDHPE encourages children to make better lifestyle decisions as well make healthier alternatives in health and physical activity. It also provides children with an equal opportunity to learn and participate in sporting activities they may not get a chance otherwise.

Resources In the CommunityThere are many out of school activities and sports

you can involve your children in like football, soccer, dancing, gymnastics and athletics just to

name a few. Many at low costs and can continue to teach kids positive healthy lifestyles, encourage

physical activities and social skills as well. Schools also call upon these outside resources to come into

the schools and have people teach the children these positive lessons with new experience.
