35280 Seals-It 2.5" ID Sealed Thrust Bearing

Fits FFR/Koni and other 2.5" body coil over shocks. These bearings serve two purposes. First, they make ride height and corner weight adjustments easier by reducing friction between the stationary spring and the rotating adjuster. Second, they allow the spring to wind and unwind naturally during compression and rebound cycles. This reduces twisting loads on the shocks. These bearings come pre-lubricated and sealed. Install a set now while you are switching over to the FFR/Koni shocks. Note: Price is each.

35281 Seals-It Coil Spring Compensator

This is a cutting edge product that compensates for the rotation and alignment change that occurs every time a spring is compressed. The sealed bearings ride in a shallow concave race and allow the spring to rotate and the seat itself to rock slightly to follow the spring. This allows the shock and spring to function independently and without restriction. Ride height and corner weight adjustments can also be made more easily, similar to the 35280 thrust bearing.

A rubber sleeve extends above the base which protects the shock adjuster threads from dirt and scuffing. The 2.5" Coil Spring Compensator is the ultimate accessory for your new Koni shocks! Price is each.

This kit includes exclusive brackets to mount the extra heavy-duty 2” OD x .095” wall DOM steel support tube in your choice of 3 locations for fine-tuning of wheel rate. The bar is supported at its extreme ends by nearly frictionless Delrin bushings, so there is no binding as with polyurethane. The rod-end arm links (protected by Seals-It washers) bolt to the FFR tubular lower arms either in front or behind the lower shock mount giving a choice of 6 rates. The brackets are located by the front lower control arm bolts for final welding. You mark and drill ½” diameter holes in the 6061 Aluminum arms to fit your car. Does not require bending of the arms.
