Our Spaces
The Front Room
The Front Room is the small room to the right when entering the hotel. This room is close to the bar, features an open fireplace, and table service can be arranged on request.

The Dining Room
The Dining Room is the large room at the back of the pub. This room is only available for private functions during lunch hours and on Sunday evenings.

Information & Conditions
Deposits
A deposit of $200 is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be deducted from the bill on the night of your function. However, if minimum spends or guests are not met you may forfeit your deposit. Function deposits can be made by cash or EFTPOS at the hotel, or by direct deposit to:

When making a bank deposit, please advise us when you do so and leave your name as a reference.
Ordering & payment We require final numbers and menu selections two weeks prior to your event. The Mallow will provide waiter service for food and drinks for all functions that are being paid for as a group.
If guests wish to pay separately, drinks are available for purchase by individuals at the main bar. However, we are unable to split the food bill. Bills are to be settled at the conclusion of your function by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card (no cheques).
Cancellations
Function bookings that are cancelled with less than two weeks notice will forfeit their deposit.
Decorations Please feel free to add your own personal touch to the room, however we ask that you refrain from using glitter, sequins, confetti, or any similar items as they are extremely difficult to clean. Blue-tac may be used to adhere items to walls, but please do not use sticky-tape. Decorations are to be removed from the room at the conclusion of your function.
Music & entertainment
We are able to play music from your iPod in the Upstairs Room, Dining Room, and Yard Bar. The Yard Bar can also host live music (organised by yourself); we do not provide speakers or music gear. Please be aware that we are a dining venue and if any music (live or recorded) is deemed inappropriate or too loud, you may be asked to turn volumes down or switch back to the house music. Adult entertainment is not permitted.
Hens & Bucks parties
We are unable to accept hens or bucks functions, unless for a sit-down meal. No vulgar paraphernalia is permitted due to the family nature of our hotel. We practice responsible service of alcohol and any behaviour deemed by management to be inappropriate will result in the termination of your function with no return of deposit.
18ths & 21sts We are unable to accept parties of this nature, unless for a sit-down meal or family event. We practice responsible service of alcohol and any behaviour deemed by management to be inappropriate will result in the termination of your function with no return of deposit. Underage guests must be accompanied by their parent or guardian due to liquor licensing laws.
Cakes
You are able to bring in your own cake or cupcakes for a special celebration. We do not charge a cake fee but you are required to cut and serve the cake yourself. Please note that no other food or drink is permitted to be brought onto our premises.
Food & DrinkStarters & grazing
Our starters & grazing menu is designed to share. Choose six items for $12 per head, or eight items for 16 per head. You may choose an item more than once so that guests receive multiple pieces of this item.
Main course
No variations can be made to individual meals, but specific dietary requirements can be catered for if we are notified in advance.
Option 1 : A-la - car t e
Choose five items from our menu to become your a-la-carte menu. A waiter will take the order at the table. Please note that this bill cannot be split.
Option 2 : Alternate drop
Choose two items from our menu to become your alternate drop (equal amounts of both meals cooked and given to guests in alternating order). Although more restrictive, this option will ensure functions run in a more timely manner.
Option 3 : Gues t s to order and pay fo r own mea l
This option can only be offered for smaller functions and at the discretion of management. Please speak to your function coordinator to discuss if this option is available to your group.
Side dishes & desserts Side dishes and desserts are priced individually. Please specify the amount of each dish you would like to order.
Drinks
Drinks are charged by consumption. We do not offer hourly beverage packages.
Time of meal Due to the nature and capabilities of our very small kitchen, we are only able to offer two options for the time you would like to be seated for main course; 7:00PM or 8:30PM. Please note that this is the time that main course will be served; not the arrival time of your function.
