French Paper CompanyPaper promotionalstudent project

Disguised as a paper promotional for French Paper Company, I designed a booklet that informed people of different paper production techniques often used in printing. From dicuts to embossing to different ways to fold paper...I covered it all.

In addition to the informative material, I also wanted to show the fun paper and style of French Paper Company. I used a couple big, patterned papers and also their subtle but classy Speckletone paper.

The House with the Yellow DoorStationarystudent project

A graphic designer, working from her home, asked us to design her stationary. Her business was called The House with the Yellow Door, mainly, because she lived in a house with a yellow door (go figure).

I sketched her house and used that as the main image in the stationary. I wanted to achieve an organic, rustic feeling which is why I chose a gold hue and a speckled card stock and also a warm ivory, cotton paper for the letterhead.

Collectively, there are thank you cards along with their envelopes, letterhead with its en-velope and a note pad.

Awana Parent Guides for web, Product Catalog

The Parent Guides were created for parents to download off of the Awana web site and then use along-side a workbook that their children were using. I designed a layout that was simple enough to print on any home printer . The challenge was to not only keep it simple but to also make interesting.

The Awana International Product Catalog is a smaller catalog that Awana sends to their clubs overseas. The catalog contains items such as hand books, uniforms and even toys and supplies for games.

The goal of this project was to create an interesting package design that would stand out on the shelf of a store but also safely house 2 light bulbs.

I created a sophisticated package that would catch the attention of someone passing by. I chose a vertical package to save space on the shelf.

This ad campaign was a group project. We wanted to achieve a sophisticated, clean design that mimicked the elegant style of the products.

We wanted a clever tag line that was short and sweet but drew in the attention of the reader.

BMWAnnual Reportstudent project

Vibrant colors and eye-grabbing photography were the main focus for the BMW Group Annual Report. I did not want to loose the identity of BMW so I did not stray far from white space and clean lines.

In there most recent annual report, they focused on the word “responsibility” to their people, to the environment and even to culture. I chose to capture that idea and use photography to grab the reader’s attention and emotion.

I designed the branding and logo for my company, Liv in Color. I used bright colors and patterns.

I also created a fun and playful web site that I could sell my t-shirts on. My goal was to create a functional and understandable site that was also well designed and would grab people’s attention.
