Based on Accord Payroll

Accord Payroll is based on a system of building

blocks, the smallest being an individual payment or

deduction; the largest a payroll or company.

We are able to provide all statutory requirements

‘off the shelf’. The system also has a library of

pre‐prepared elements to get you up and running

with minimum fuss.

The solution is highly adaptive being able to accom‐

modate ever changing legislation and client needs.

At the same time 100% of Accord Payroll installa‐

tions are non-bespoke.

Service Level Offerings

Bureau Service

The most common form of payroll service outsourc‐

ing is Bureau. Typically, the Accord Payroll system is

made available to users as a hosted service, which

facilitates easy data entry and immediate availability

of reports. Users enter and validate data, which is

then submitted to PBS electronically. We process

the payroll, produce payslips and reports and also

take responsibility for BACS transfers in most cases.

Gross to Net Analysis report, Bacs Payment List

other systems. Using our own payroll software, data

interfaces can be largely electronic, so that reports

and payslips are viewable on-line, although printed

copy is still made available.

Full Administrative Services

A fully managed service effectively means that the

experts at Payroll Business Solutions become your

payroll department, dealing directly with HMRC for

all PAYE enquiries. Typically, access to the payroll

system is not necessary, although it can easily be

provided if you require independent access to your

data. We input new and changed employee

information, or this can be imported from other sys‐

tems such as HR or T & A.

Period variable data is sent to PBS, who enter the

information, run the payroll calculation and forward

it to you for authorisation.

right shows a simple set up for a single organisation, processing internal timesheets. Example 2 shows how the system is used
