Enthusiasti c and passionate about architecture, I enjoy the challenge of acquiring new skills and developing those I already have. I design with meaning, derived from narrati ve and connecti on the place, whilst maintaining a grasp on technical and environmental aspects.
I have developed an appreciati on of materiality and the interplay of light and shadow, there sensibiliti es and the way they eff ect space. During my studies I have also formed an affi nity for 3D visualisati on and an interest in mixed realiti es. I sti ll however take pleasure in hand drawing and model making.
I maintain an interest in art and design as well as architecture and have been fortunate enough to visit inspiring work which has furthered my educati on and heightened my fascinati on of the subject. Away from the architecture I consider myself to be sociable and a keen sportsman, enjoying football and tennis.
