Association for Community Training (ACT) and Paula Pico Pradas,Spain Future Intervention -09.08.2013 Dear and beloved Paula, Toward the future development of the ACT we have evolved the following intervention which would be materialised by yours effect. Program 1: Facilitation of continuous interested volunteers to ACT. Program 2: Poverty alleviation Income Generation Program of 110 village women who hailed from poor state connecting Local environment. Program 3: Guiding + Helping hapless rural unemployed youth through starting a vocational Education program. Program 4: To set up multi farming in ACT land which would be supporting source of economical development of landless and small and marginal farmers. Program 5: Preparation of a news letter in Spanish and addressing the need of ACT to like minded people at your place. Program 6: To open an office at your home as a unit of ACT, India. Program 7: Mutual cultural exchange to promote cultural contribution of both countries. Program 8: Vehicle Support to go around 110 target villages and to render qualitative service to the far off village of remote in nature. Program 9: To take the extra classes for Mugaiyur children as permanent one through appointing a teacher who will be paid 60 euro per month. Program 10: Providing regular physiotherapy support to FRIEDA, a victim of non – curable Muscular Dystrophy – remuneration to physiotherapist. We must say our heart contended thanks to God Almighty who send a Talented committed sweet heart Paula to ACT and in a special way we say thanks to Paula for her stay at ACT and her valid intervention for the development of our organization. +WHAT IS ACT?
Association for Community Training (ACT) is an NGO blossomed in the year 1981.
ACT is working in over 110 villages of Mugaiyur constituency, Villupuram district, Tamilnadu, India.
Through the process of multi facetted initiatives to protect fundamental rights of the poor and the marginalized and fight against discrimination on the basis of caste, color, gender language, religion and restore human dignity to the down trodden.
+PROGRAM I:
CONTINUATION OF EXTRACLASSES
• To take the extra classes for Mugaiyur children as permanent one through appointing a teacher who will be paid 60 euros per month.
+ PROGRAM II:
WOMEN INCOME GENERATION
Poverty alleviation Income Generation Program of 110 village women who hailed from poor state connecting Local environment.
Activities: Tailoring Handloom weaving Internet and DTP centers Brick kilns Goat rearing Growing milk animals Food shops

YOUTH EMPLOYMENT
• Guiding + Helping unfortunate rural unemployed youth through starting a vocational education program.
• Activities: Technical training (computer, mass media communication ) Mechanical training. Electrical and electronic training.

MULTI FARMING To set up multi farming (veterinary
farms) in ACT land which would be supporting source of economical development of landless and small and marginal farmers.
Activities: construction of sheds, purchase of animals like cows, goats, pigs, country chicks, purchase of bullock carts, water and electricity facilities, staff, growing

Providing regular physiotherapy support to FRIEDA, a victim of non – curable Muscular Dystrophy
Remuneration to physiotherapist.

+VOLUNTEERS PERSONAL
EXPERIENCE: My experience in India with ACT has been a real volunteer experience.
I have seen what is the real women and Dalit (the lowest cast, the untouchables) discrimination in India ( women no education, women no independence, Dalit different glass in tea shops, abuse of dalits, beat drums, Erayur incidence..). I have been visiting many Dalit villages, schools and women self-help groups.
I have been experienced and having master classes about Indian culture and law. (Explain constitution, corruption, food, dress, marriage, family values, anecdotes (free tv, free rice, traffic), infrastructures, mud houses…)
I have been teaching English extraclasses to poor children (children situation, school absent, smile, love, parents migration, parents unemployment, malnutrition, dirtiness, names…)
Agriculture situation: real estates, monsoon, industrialization, farmers suicides, pollution by inorganic fertilizers, diseases …
