Dr. Andrew Peregrine has joined the CVMA as one of the expert panelist for the 'Importaon of Dogs into Canada Discussed at First Naonal Issues Forum' >> CVMA news Congratulaons to Megan Strachan-Whaley (Bridle lab) and her husband Dave on the safe arrival of their daughter Evanlina Rae Strachan (6 lbs 13 oz) on Saturday July 16th. Dear Colleagues The semester is underway, the weather is turning to chilly and wet. Life wasn't exciting enough with all the business of school, etc. so my family let itself be tempo- rarily adopted by a raccoon. Baylis ascaris and all. There was a ceremony organized by Parks Canada to honour Dr. Schofield recently. The plaque will be installed outside between the PAHL building and Gordon St. Dr. Harold Reed, a retired OVC faculty member in Clini- cal Studies was the sponsor. Courtney Schott, as a recent recipient of the Schofield Scholarship, represented Pathobiology and spoke eloquently on our behalf. Cheers John OVC Prof Honoured for Contribuons in Canada, Abroad A University of Guelph professor and alumnus known for his pioneering discoveries and his involvement in Koreas independence movement was honoured today by the Canadian government. A commemorave plaque dedicated to Francis Schofield, who died in 1970, was installed at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC). OVC Prof Honoured for Contributions in Canada, Abroad

A University of Guelph professor and alumnus known for his pioneering discoveries and his involvement in Korea’s independence movement was honoured today by the Canadian government.

Oct 21 Will you be defending Fall 2016? Make sure to apply to graduate at Winter 2016 Convo- cation or by the October 21 deadline to avoid late fees.

Nov 4 Last day to drop a one semester course REGISTRATION

Part I: Using WebAdvisor, register into UNIV*7510 Active Full-Time or UNIV*7520 Part-time

Part II: You must also register for UNIV*7500 Re-search and Writing. Note: this is not a real course, but it will show on your transcript if you are not taking a course or drop your course.

Part III: Pay your tuition. If you are on Payroll De-duction or have a Scholarship you will need to go into WebAdvisor and do the Graduate Settlement. Avoid late fees, deadline around Dec 12-17. Regis-trar’s Office will send out a reminder.
