The aim of the HEARtheCall Pathfinder Camporee is to provide our Pathfinder a lifetime opportunity to celebrate Pathfindering together. Therefore the top priority is to ensure that Pathfinder aged children attend. In order to achieve this each club will need to be aware that there are appropriate ratios between staff and Pathfinders. These ratios need to be enforced by our Youth Department staff at local Mission levels.

Your support with these ratios is appreciated and will ensure that the maximum number of Pathfinders will share in this experience of a lifetime. For small/medium clubs( 1-50 members), a ratio of 1 adult for up to 4 pathfinders, plus 1 cook for up to 10 pathfinders. For large clubs (51 and above) a ratio of 1 adult for every 6 pathfinder. An extra cook can be added for every 20 additional pathfinders.

To help make the HeartheCall Camporee experience more memorable. The host country, to adopt a sister club. e. g. Burns creek Pathfinder Club could adopt a club from Vanuatu Mission as their sister club. The two clubs would operate independently – but would camp near each other. The hosting clubs may wish to assist their sister club by loaning equipment such as cooking and camping gear. All arrangements of sister clubs must be done via the camporee committee. There will be more information provided in our next bulletin.

Each individual Pathfinders are required to bring their own camping Tent. However, each club can work out how many tents they will bring according to their numbers attending camp. Each club will be allocated to a sub-camp which will have its own marked out grassed area for tent. The tenting area will be somewhat restricted. Plan to pitch your tents close together.

* Camp fees are Non-Refundable

* No Applications will be accepted after 30 September
