Under a baobab tree, an old man tells a story to the children around him: the story of the everlasting friendship between Maki, a little boy aged 10, and Zarafa, an orphaned giraffe, a gift from the Pasha of Egypt to the King of France, Charles X.

Hassan, Prince of the Desert, is instructed by the Pasha to deliver Zarafa to France. But Maki has made up his mind to do everything in his power to stop Hassan from fulfilling his mission and to bring the giraffe back to its native land – even if it means risking his own life – because he must fulfill his promise to Zarafa’s late mother.

During an epic journey that takes them from Sudan to Paris, passing on the way through Alexandria, Marseille and the snow-capped Alps, they have many adventures, crossing paths with the aviator Malaterre, a pair of unusual twin cows called Mounh and Sounh, and the pirate queen Bouboulina.

THE IRON LADY is a surprising and intimate portrait of Margaret Thatcher, the first and only female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

One of the 20th century’s most famous and influential women, she came from nowhere to smash through barriers of gender and class to be heard in a male dominated world.

This is a film about power and the price that is paid for power, a story that is both unique and universal.

THE IRON LADY stars Academy Award® winners Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher and Jim Broadbent as her husband, Denis.

Cheated on by his wife, Antoine leaves the family home and moves in with Léo, his childhood friend. Léo and his wife Léa help him through this difficult time.

The toughest part is how much he misses his three kids. The notorious access on alternate weekends make him a “Sunday dad” – a bit of an amateur, like an angler or a Sunday driver. But life goes on, the smiles and good times slowly return.

It’s a difficult yet gradually fulfilling apprenticeship for this new life, which might even have room for a new romantic encounter.

July 1976, the year of the heat wave. Claude, an Algerian Jew who came to France 15 years earlier, takes his young wife Isabelle, his two sons Simon (12) and Bibou (8) and his mother-in-law Mamie to Brittany. It was Isabelle who, after having caught Claude in the throes of adultery, chose for this vacation to return to Le Rocher Abraham, the village where she was born.

The day after their arrival they are joined by their friends Bernard and Bernadette, and Jacky and Marie-France.

The holidaymakers are viewed with distrust by the locals, whose accents are as coarse as their hands. Their welcome is particularly unfriendly in the Pondemer café where the village men gather. Pied-noir Jews from Paris don’t mix so comfortably with Catholics rooted in the Brittany prov-inces, and these locals are men, real men.

But gradually, with a great deal of humour, humanity and empathy, the suspicion melts and bonds start to form. The old grudges and ill feel-ings of the past are swept away, giving way to friendship, laughter and holiday romance – those unforgettable moments and feelings we have all shared. At Le Rocher Abraham, 15 miles from the sea, Claude and Isabelle find their marriage is back on track, while Bibou and Simon, two brothers who are very close, spend a memorable summer full of childhood discoveries of the world of grown-ups: their best ever holiday.

LAST PASSENGER is a contained yet kinetic thriller with a relentless momentum, melding suspense, action, and genuine heart to get audi-ence pulses racing - at 100 miles per hour.

Lewis Shaler (Dougray Scott) is an overworked doctor and devoted single dad heading home with his young son on the last train from London. When he strikes up a relationship with a beautiful and flirtatious strang-er, Lewis believes life is finally looking up. But events then take a dark turn when Lewis discovers the guard has mysteriously vanished and the brakes have been sabotaged. Unknown to the handful of remaining pas-sengers, a vengeful sociopath has taken control of the train and is hell bent on crashing it, taking his passengers with him to the grave.

As the speeding locomotive ploughs through stations and level crossings, the body count rises and panic turns to terror. Lewis realises that the police are powerless to stop the diesel-powered ‘slammer’ train, and the desperate passengers must find their own way out of this night-mare. Lewis takes the lead in a series of increasingly perilous missions to stop the train before the driver can realise his dark plan...
