An example of adjusting the VLMBN dies.

First, the securing screws (8) must be loosened until the required spacer bar
width .
Then, the front die halves (yellow arrows) are pushed backward so that the
spacer bars are freely accessible.
The spacer bars (10) can then be removed and replaced by the desired spacer
bars.

The rear die halves (yellow arrows) are then pushed against the securing
screws so there is space for the required spacer bars.
Now the new spacer bar can be pushed in.

The rear die halves have to be pushed against the rear spacer bars and there
after the securing screws have to tightened softly by hand.
Note:
When changing from a lager spacer bar opening to a smaller one, the die halves
must always be pushed against the spacer bar at each pushed-in length, so that
the spacer bars cannot become detached from each other.

Additional die holders:
When you want to bend with a V-opening smaller than
65 mm, you can use a die holder (6) to use your own dies.
To fixate this holder on the VLMDN die, there are special
fixating blocks (1-4).
For protecting the die against dust you can use dust
protection sheets (5) which can be placed very easily.

Additional insert dies:
On customer request
It is possible to produce additional insert dies to create a
V-opening of V 10 to V 60 mm
Design is depending of needed max. loading.
VLMEN – FN Additional Insert Die
With this insert dies you can create additional V-Openings of
V= 10 – 115/ 145 mm.
The insert dies can be placed without any screwing.
