Our company offers a variety of waste hauling services to the residents of Paso Robles. Please see page 9 for more information.

Billing and Payment
You will receive a monthly billing statement the first week of each month. Payment is due the last day of that month. We offer an Automated Payment program by checking, savings, Visa or Mastercard. To sign up, please ask one of our customer service representatives for more information.
Containers
You may choose the trash service that best fits your waste needs. You may change your service at any time by calling our office. We have three sizes available: 40-gallon, 60-gallon and 90-gallon containers.
Requirements
1. Lid must close; service is based on a level container.
2. Container must be at the curb no later than 6:00a.m.
3. Container must be accessible from the street and have adequate clearance on either side.
Tags for Extra Waste
If you have more trash than what fits into your regular service, you may purchase tags at our office or by mail. These tags will cover a 32-gallon container, whether it is a box, bag or can (50 lbs. or less). Drivers are instructed not to take any extra trash unless it is tagged or prior arrangements have been made. You may request to have an additional empty for your trash bin by calling the office.
Temporary Bin Service
We offer 3- and 4-yard temporary bin service. You may order a bin anytime you have a larger-than-normal volume of garbage to dispose of. Please call our office for more information.
2009 & 2010 Holiday Schedules
Our trucks run all holidays except Christmas Day. The office is closed for most major holidays, but the trucks run their regular routes. When in doubt, put it out.

Instructions• All recyclables must be placed in the container with the lid completely closed.
• Only use the recycling container provided by us.
• Flatten cardboard boxes.
• Place your recycling container at curbside 3 feet from other containers, cars and objects, with the lid facing the street.
• When in doubt, recycle it! (Or call our office.)

Helpful Information
Location of Containers
Containers should be placed within five feet of the curb or road edge. They should not be obstructed in a way that could prevent the drivers from collecting your trash and recycling. Please park your vehicles in such a way that your driver may have access to your property.

Hot Material
Hot coals from a fireplace or barbecue can start a fire in your trash container and our collection truck. Please wet hot material thoroughly before placing it out for collection.
Hazardous Waste
State law prohibits the disposal of certain wastes in trash containers. The following are hazardous waste items that must not be placed out for collection (see Curbside Oil Recycling):
• acids • motor oil• drugs • flammable liquids• explosives • cathode ray tubes• paint • used oil filters• caustics • engine coolant• poisons • batteries• pool chemicals • pesticides• fluorescent lights • electronic waste
Recycling Information
Battery, Florescent Lamp and Tube Recycling
The San Luis Obispo Integrated Waste Management Authority has provided us with containers to accept your household batteries, fluorescent lamps and tubes, located at our office. You can drop off your items Monday through Friday from 8a.m. to 5p.m.
Curbside Oil Recycling
It’s easy, convenient and free! Call our office to schedule a pick-up of your used motor oil. We will provide you with a 15-quart capacity oil container and an oil filter bag.
Green Waste – Green Container
All green waste materials listed below can be placed into your 96-gallon green automated container. Remember, the lids must close.

Contamination
Clean green waste is a must. The green waste truck has a video camera to monitor green waste container contents as it is emptied. Containers contaminated with trash will receive a service charge per incident. Repeat offenders will have containers removed.
Place your automated container on the street next to your trash and recycling bins no later than 6:00a.m. Have a 3-foot clearance on all sides. Remember, the lids must close.
