• GPs can choose to take up the DES for learning disabilities.

• GPs will receive payments for;– Learning disability register 50-00.– Offering annual health checks 100-00.– GP must attend training to receive payment.– Does not apply to people with a mild learning

disability.

• To make sure that all Health Action plans include mental health and behavioural issues if they are appropriate to the person.
