The Metropolitan Natural Park is located in the corregimiento of Ancón, Panama district, specifically between the Villalaz Ascanio Avenue, the road of friendship, in Avenida Juan Pablo II final. It is the only protected area of Central America that lies within the boundaries of a metropolitan city.
