Letter from Brookhaven Parks & Recreation Director

Welcome to the City of Brookhaven! I hope that you find this activity guide helpful as you navigate through and learn about parks and recreation and some of the many things we have to offer. I encourage you to be active in your daily lives and “Play in Brookhaven”.

We have a variety of classes and programs that provide opportunities to get involved and have some fun. Our community centers and pools offer a wide range of activities, while the parks, ball fields, and trails afford you a diverse set of options. Whether you live here or just visiting, we invite you to take advantage of the services we provide.

Although we have only been a department for a short time, I am very proud of our facilities and the dedicated staff that provide you with a wealth of activities. We continue to work hard and strive to give our patrons the best we have to offer, and we expect the improvements throughout our parks to continue in 2015.

Enjoy playing in Brookhaven. Feel free to contact our staff with your thoughts, comments, ideas, or suggestions.
