    Introduction

    Product Line Overview

    An Innovator in FiltrationTechnology

Parker manufactures a wide variety of filtration products. These products, including both vessels and replaceablemedia, are used extensively in the beverage, chemicalprocessing, cosmetic, food processing, metalworking, paint, ink, pharmaceutical and photo-processingindustries. Theyre also used for prefiltration of feedwater in reverse-osmosis water treatment plants. Severalof these products are "Certified to ANSI/NSF 61" standardfor contact with drinking water components.

In microfiltration, Parker is pioneering breakthroughs formicro-chip fabricators. Our systems improve yields bydelivering ultra-pure chemicals and water filtered to thelimits of detection.

When you need process fluid filters to remove contamina-tion, such as gels or grit, Parker can deliver. In suchapplications as oil and gas exploration/productionprocessing or removal of wastes and byproducts,Parker filters remove particles from 0.03 to 840 microns.

Our process filtration capabilities also include suchapplications as adhesives, resins, water, paints, edibleoils, photographic chemicals and magnetic coatings.Advanced technology, ultra-pure, chemically inert filtrationapplications include electronic components, pharmaceuti-cals, beverages and reverse-osmosis membraneprefiltration protection.

Parkers broad filter line includes membrane cartridges, pleated cartridges, vessels (ASME code and non-code),high-efficiency filter bags, melt blown cartridges, stainlesssteel media and more. Our filter media provide a widerange of micron removal choices from 0.03 to 840microns, with efficiencies as high as 99.99+ percent.

Further, Parkers leadership in ultra-pure microprocessfiltration is recognized by a growing number of customers. We contribute to improved yields by helping to deliverultra-pure chemicals and water to the wafer surface.

Finally, Parker bag media and bonded media (ProBond)are available for high-viscosity applications such as theremoval of oversize particles in paints and inks. Thewound cartridge (HFT or XTL) is an economical choicefor general clarification operations on a wide variety ofliquids from water to corrosive liquids to organic liquids.Wound cartridges, bag media and pleated products thatmeet FDA requirements are available for food contactservice such as potable water, edible oils, soft drinks, beerand corn syrup.

Membrane CartridgesParkers line of membrane cartridges is ideal for criticalapplications when high performance is necessary. Theyare available in two types of media: polyethersulfone, andPTFE fluoropolymer.

Pleated Polypropylene CartridgesPleated polypropylene filter elements, such as ourbackwashable Poly-Mate cartridge used in beer filtrationand similar applications, provide better filtration value.

Resin Bonded CartridgesParkers ProBond cartridges provide two-stage filtration inan innovative one-piece filter. The outer layer of ProBondacts as a prefilter trapping large particles, while the insidelayer provides final filtration. The ProBond is available inparticle removal ratings from 2 to 150 microns.

Melt Blown CartridgesProcess Filtrations MegaBond Plus Cartridges areabsolute-rated depth media that offer consistent produc-tion yields and quality due to fixed pore structure and finerremoval ratings for use in a wide variety of applications.

VesselsParker ASME code and non-code filter vessels areavailable in a variety of configurations for a broad range ofliquid, compressed air and gas applications.

Parker Fulflo Pleated Cellulosic Cartridges meeta broad range of critical filtration applications. Each cartridge in the Fulflo Pleated Cellulosicseries is manufactured with premium grade, phenolic impregnated, cellulosic filter media.Phenolic resin locks the cellulosic fibers into arigid, porous matrix. This structure providessuperior particle removal and particle retentionperformance under the most severe conditions.

    Fulflo Pleated Cartridges are available in 2m, 3m,10m, 30m and 60m pore sizes (99%+ removal: = 100).

High flow rates permit the use of smaller vesselsand fewer cartridges.

Lower P reduces power requirements andpump wear and tear.

Longer cartridge life reduces frequency of filterchange out resulting in less disposal costs, reduced inventory and less process interruptions.
