e of its projects and priorities. The high quality refurbishm

ent of the Buttercross, including the renovation of cupola and clock, has been recognised w

ith a Heritage Conservation Award. The

Market infrastructure replaced the previous

year has gone from strength to strength

and new interesting M

arkets have been developed. W

e were proud to be aw

arded ‘M

arket Of The Year’ for 2011.

You may have noticed som

e recent changes to and the creation of the Linney Riverside Park and w

e would like to thank

our partners Shropshire Council and local com

munity group, Friends of Linney

Riverside Park for their support.

The anti erosion works appear to be w

orking w

ell at the Linney riverbank. A long term

solution and plans to redevelop the whole

area, including a new playground are

proceeding well and scheduled to open in

the spring/summ

er of 2012. As this goes to print w

e are joining forces with the Tow

n W

alls Trust and Shropshire Council on an

exciting plan to enhance the historic and natural environm

ent throughout the Ludlow

Conservation Area which w

ill improve

facilities for residents and visitors and we

hope to attract more visitors to the tow

n in 2012 and beyond.

Our industrious grounds staff has significantly enhanced the centre of Ludlow
