Web site Info!

Are you aware that both Rotary Interna-tional AND District

5220 have great web sites? There is a tremendous amount of information about Rotary at the local level as well as at the international level.

RI’s web site is www.rotary.org. There is “Club Locator” that helps you find a club to do a make-up both locally and abroad. Through “Member Ac-cess” you can look at your account with The Rotary Foundation...see where you are towards your NEXT Paul Harris Fellow. You need to regis-ter with RI and receive a password to enter the site.

The web address for District 5220 is www.rotary5220.org. Here you will find a wealth of information about Ro-tary, our District, events, and more. For access to the member section you do need a user name and password. Look for that information to arrive via email.

A tremendous amount of work goes into developing and maintaining these sites. Be sure to visit them.

And….stay tuned for President Marian’s announcement that the new Modesto Rotary web site is ready to view!

Pam will be taking orders for shirts before meeting on July 22nd.

Rotary in Review...July 15th

What a great program by local entrepreneur Dan Costa. He does seem to have the golden touch when it comes to growing a business and then knowing the right time to sell, sell, sell! His current endeavor, 5.11 Tactical, seems to be growing off the charts! Dan was very generous and provided a 5.11 bag, socks and cap for everyone in atten-dance Thank you Dan!

Fellow Rotarians paid the litter fine to talk about their involvement in local events:

Kathy Salvatore - American Cancer Society Extravaganza, August 23rd Steve Smith - Modesto Nuts/United Way Golf tournament, July 28th Joe Muratore/Tony Bruno -Road Tax Measure

President Marian acknowledged some Boasts, Toasts & Roasts! She boasted that she had just returned from her nephew’s wedding in Hawaii.

Ken Elving - daughters have graduated from college and high school Joy Madison- article in the Modesto Bee and adopted a new dog Sandy Sutton - just returned from Hawaii Bruce Valentine toasted - he is a proud new grandpa!

THE FOUR-WAY TEST: Of the things we think, say, or do...1) Is it the TRUTH? 2) Is it FAIR to All Concerned? 3) Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4) Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

When You Lose a Rotarian Friend, Consider a Contribution to The Modesto Rotary Foundation or Endowment Fund...
